The Hamilton Jazz Society proudly presents Art Gecko at our Christmas Concert, Sunday 16th December, 4.30-7.30pm at the Waikato Commerce Club, 197 Collingwood Street, Hamilton.
Art Gecko continues to evolve as the popular broad-based social band that plays Jazz and Blues standards along with modern tunes. At the beginning of 2018, the band added the lead guitarist Tony Baucke to the line-up, who has brought yet another dimension to the band. Art Gecko has always actively sought to nurture young talent so for the HJS Christmas Party, Art Gecko is introducing a local and exciting young guest singer, Stephanie Helliwell. The band is looking forward to playing for the HJS in December, as it has done many times since the band was formed 25 years ago.
