HJS Newsletter November 2015

Hi Jazz Cats,

First off last month we were entertained by one of our muso members Dino Hutchinson on saxophone. I must say   getting back to local talent for me is where it really is at. It just goes to show for those of you that actually got to see him and the next band perform The Mira Lacey Trio also from  Hamilton can actually say that we do have some home grown talent out there that are definitely on a par with other towns and cities even though we don't have the Jazz musician pool to take from like Auckland, The Bay Of Plenty and Wellington. I would like to thank both Dino and the Mira Lacey Trio for coming along and performing for the Jazz Society a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon of music and jazz.
