Returning to us again, the Hamilton Jazz Society are proud to present Art Gecko supported by Aldrich Cecilio in concert, on Sunday 26th May, 4.30-7.30pm, at the Waikato Commerce Club, 197 Collingwood Street, Hamilton.

Art Gecko continue to evolve as the popular broad-based social band that play Jazz and Blues standards along with modern tunes. Last year, the band added the lead guitarist Tony Baucke to their line-up and he has added yet another dimension to the band.
|
Art Gecko have always actively sought to nurture young talent and they are introducing a local and exciting young guest singer, Stephanie Helliwell. The band is looking forward to playing for the HJS in May, as they have done many times since the band was formed 25 years ago.

Do join us for a relaxed afternoon of great, danceable music; a good chance to wind down the weekend.

- Sunday 28th July – The Randy Mathews Quintet - the standouts at the Tauranga Jazz Festival, playing a Dixie style of Jazz.
